Daphne’s family files criminal complaint on ‘fraudulent’ Cutajar job

Daphne Caruana Galizia’s heirs are demanding criminal action into MP Rosianne Cutajar’s ‘fraudulent’ government job at the ITS

The family filed a criminal complaint through their lawyer Jason Azzopardi with both the police commissioner and the attorney general’s office.

Since 2020, the police have had evidence of the crimes, including misappropriation and money laundering, the family said.

In a damning report published last week, the National Audit Office concluded that Cutajar’s ITS job was “illegitimate”, “fraudulent” and in breach of all regulations.

Caruana Galizia’s family is demanding a probe into Cutajar, ITS CEO Pierre Fenech, as well as former Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi and his chief of staff Kevin Borg.

Former Labour MP Rosianne Cutajar was conducting research, ITS CEO Pierre Fenech insisted in comments to Times of Malta on Monday.

“The work she had to do in the first five months was to conduct the research that was needed”, Fenech said.
