‘KM Malta’ fails to provide T&Cs for the bookings it already takes

Malta’s ‘new’ national airline is currently selling tickets without providing customers with documents on its terms & conditions

KM Malta Airlines Limited callcentre agents have not been provided with the airline’s terms and conditions, and general conditions of carriage.

These and further documents would inform customers about the legally required rules, specifications, and requirements of each booking.

The airline has also failed to publish such documents on its social media channels which currently are the company’s only online presence.

On Tuesday evening, Bonġu reached out to KM Malta’s callcentre to try and obtain all documents regulating bookings with the airline.

“I cannot give you such documents, they will be on the website from 11 December, but I can tell you general information”, an agent told Bonġu.

When asked whether they would start reading out pages and pages of terms and conditions, we were told that they don’t even have the documents requested.

Customers are currently only informed verbally about the airline’s terms and conditions in simplified form – provided they actively request this information.

An email enquiry to KM Malta Airlines Limited regarding the missing documents remained unanswered at the time of publication.
