NSO: Tourist arrivals up by almost 25% in November

Total tourist arrivals in November 2023 were estimated at 217,487 – an increase of 24.7% when compared to November 2022

Figures published by the National Statistics Office show that the largest share of inbound tourists were aged between 25 and 44 (41.7%).

Travellers from the UK, Italy and Germany made up more than 40% of total inbound tourists in November.

The number of inbound tourists for the first 11 months of the last year exceeded 2.8 million, 31% more than over the same period in 2022.

The total tourist expenditure increased similarly, by 33.7% to €2.6 billion, when compared to the first 11 months of 2022.
