FMS CEO Carmen Ciantar has written to the Police Commissioner for a second time, asking him to treat her request for an investigation with urgency
Insists on urgent investigation: Carmen Ciantar writes to police commissioner … again
The head of the Foundation for Medical Services suspended herself last week in the wake of bribery allegations connected to the fraudulent hospitals privatisation.
Ciantar asked the police for an investigation, and filed a request for a magistrate investigating the hospitals deal to also probe the allegations made against her.
In a second letter to the commissioner, issued by her lawyers on Wednesday, Ciantar reiterated her request for an investigation so that she could clear her name.
“There is absolutely nothing that could threaten or scare my client from subjecting herself to any form of investigation”, lawyer Vincent Micallef wrote.
Ciantar insists that the bribery allegations against her are completely untrue.
