Traffic at MIA exceeds 700,000 passengers in April

Passenger movements at Malta International Airport registered in April marked an increase of 8.4% over the pre-pandemic 2019 levels

708,388 passengers travelled through the islands’ small airport last month, with 98,449 during the particularly busy Easter weekend.

The main drivers of passenger traffic in April were the markets Italy, United Kingdom, France and Germany, the airport said.
