The Labour Party’s lead over the Nationalists has shrunk to just over 5%, the latest Times of Malta survey has found
Times of Malta survey: Labour lead shrinks to 13,500 votes
If an election were held tomorrow, the Labour Party would receive 50% of the votes, the Nationalist Party 44.8%, and other parties 5.2%.
The Labour Party has retained roughly the same result it had in the previous edition of the survey in July, only dipping marginally by 0.3 percentage points.
The Nationalist Party registered an increase of 1.3 percentage points during this period, while other parties saw a decrease of 1 percentage point.
Times of Malta did not publish a result for the green party ADPD, presenting its poll as a two-horse race between the major parties.
Last month, a MaltaToday survey similarly omitted publishing a result for Malta’s third-largest party by also grouping it with ‘others’.
Robert Abela leads trust ratings
In the party leaders trust rating, Prime Minister Robert Abela scored 4.57 points, Opposition Leader Bernard Grech only 3.69 points out of 10.
