Roberta Metsola has emerged as the most trusted MEP among Maltese voters, according to the latest MaltaToday survey

The European Parliament president reached a score of 22%, closely followed by Labour MEP Alex Agius Saliba with 17%.
However, the survey found that 25% of the electorate trusts none of the six incumbent Maltese MEPs, while 23% said they don’t know.
Long-serving Nationalist MEP David Casa is most trusted by a meagre 5.5% of the survey’s respondents.
The Labour MEPs Alfred Sant, Josianne Cutajar and Cyrus Engerer performed particularly badly in the trust rating, as none of them reached 5%.
