PN denies having rejected Mark Camilleri’s interview request to Graham Bencini

On Monday, Mark Camilleri reported on his website The Maltese Herald that PN MP and public finances spokesperson, Graham Bencini, told him the party did not “release permission” to give an interview.

Camilleri added that Bencini informed him of this decision after he sent him questions for a recorded interview in advance.

PN Secretary General, Michael Piccinino, told NEWZ.mt on Monday evening that the party has always been very open to scrutiny by the public and by journalists.

While saying he had been too busy to look into what happened, Piccinino added he is sure that Mark Camilleri will get to interview Graham Bencini.

On Monday, the Nationalist Party was busy with organising a protest in wake of a scandal involving Clint Camilleri, Clayton Bartolo and his wife Amanda Muscat.
