Hili submits new plans for Comino bungalow development
The developers said their new plans for the bungalows site come with a reduced footprint when compared to original plans.
They now claim a total reduced footprint of 8,244 square metres – “equivalent to the area of around 32 tennis courts”.
“Following our public exhibition, we carefully considered the concerns raised by stakeholders”, HV Hospitality said.
It added it wants to show a clear commitment to preserving Comino and was also targeting the highest LEED certification.
The project consists of a hotel complex at San Niklaw Bay, to be managed by luxury brand Six Senses, and a bungalow site at Santa Marija Bay.
