‘Greenwashing’ chief Steve Ellul approved as Labour MEP candidate

Former Project Green CEO Steve Ellul has been approved by the Labour party as one of its candidates for the European elections

Ellul announced his candidacy through a video message and expressed his wholehearted acceptance of the party’s invitation.

Last week, he resigned as CEO of Project Green, a government entity often dubbed as “greenwashing agency”, in order to focus on his election campaign.

Ellul faced controversy when other Labour MEP candidates alleged that his position at the agency gave him an advantage in winning the electorate’s favour.
