Carmen Ciantar testifies in hospitals inquiry

The self-suspended CEO of the Foundation for Medical Services has testified in an inquiry into the hospitals deal

Carmen Ciantar has testified before the inquiring magistrate after requesting to do so, Times of Malta reported.

Ciantar requested to testify when unsubstantiated bribery claims against her emerged in Pakistani media.

A news report claimed that Ciantar had received more than €440,000 in payments from a company linked to Vitals Global Healthcare.

“Now justice has to be seen to be done with me and all involved”, Ciantar told the Times of Malta.
