Bonġu publishes the report of the government-appointed committee of media experts that was tabled in Parliament earlier on Monday

The government received the report in July, but withheld its publication until it was tabled in Parliament following summer recess.
Over 130 editors, journalists, activists and international press freedom organisations called on the government to publish the report without delay.
The Institute of Maltese Journalists (IĠM) promised to publish the report on Monday if the government failed to so.
However, the document couldn’t be found on the Parliament’s website, and was not published by the government or the IĠM by the time of writing.
